Labour law

The Employment Law department is made up of seventeen lawyers who are focussed entirely on employment law. This makes us true specialists. We act for businesses, directors, management boards and human resource departments, but individual employees can also rely on us for legal support with disputes and matters related to employment law.

We can advise and guide you in the following areas:

  • Employment contracts, CLAs and conditions of employment
  • Dismissal
  • Retirement
  • Collective redundancy, reorganisation and redundancy package
  • Co-determination
  • Compliance
  • Public service law
  • Social insurance

Advice in good time

Many problems can be prevented by properly arranging matters relating to employment law, beforehand. Therefore, it is sensible to obtain our input at an early stage for issues relating to employment law. We also advise (new start-up) businesses on the best possible structure for their employment law-related organisational aspects and help them make the right strategic choices.

Conflict mediation

If things should culminate in a dispute after all, it does not automatically have to lead to legal proceedings. In the first instance, we always endeavour to arrive at a solution through conflict mediation, without the involvement of a court. To achieve this, we invite both parties to discuss the situation, and this often results in a satisfactory solution.

Fixed consultation partner

At Dirkzwager, we bring together the knowledge from the various departments. You will always keep your fixed contact person – your own lawyer – who is fully informed of your specific situation and can anticipate new issues immediately, while never losing sight of your interests. Your personal consultation partner for everything relating to employment law.
